So the draft is 2-2's, a 3, 2-5's and a 6th.
Nowhere did I see them draft a bonifide left tackle. This season
is a dung pile.

Most quality LTs are drafted in R1 so there ya go.

I see. So just wait for the June releases. Our old sieve should
be there too.

Leno? Doubtful. LTs are hard to replace - even mediocre ones.

I havent heard anything about this guy. Dont recall seeing him
play either. We sure need help along the Oline...,...and badly.
This guy sounds more like a OG.

That mock with us trading up to grab Olave, doesnt say what we
would have to give up.

I know. I saw that. My guess is it was picks from next year,
which is why they didnt post it. But think about this for a
moment.......suppose they use all 6 picks on WRs. How much time
does that
leave for the QB to find even the greatest receivers to complete
any passes when the sieve Oline isnt fixed?

No trade ups - especially for a WR which is a high risk
position. You need multiple draft choices making your team year
after year otherwise you are always renting journeyman free
agents to fill out your lineup.
There's a fine line between balancing quality draft choices and
quantity of draft choices.

trade ups got the Bears in the position they're currently in.

May take the best receiver then trade back on the other.
