If all of the hot WR's that we want are gone by the time of our
       second round pick ...
it has to be the best example of a Quentin Nelson type guard
       that we can find.

Keep an eye on Deshaun Watson...
Reports are that if Watson is traded to the Saints, Armstead
will stay in NO...but if Watson goes elsewhere, the Bears are
one of a handful of teams who are players for Armstead.

       He just ruled out Cleveland.
       The Saints are the favorite.

Are we filling needed holes at positions before the draft ?
Can somebody punch up who we have signed so far ?
Replacing those that have departed ?

       So the draft is 2-2's, a 3, 2-5's and a 6th.
Nowhere did I see them draft a bonifide left tackle. This season
       is a dung pile.

       Have a little faith...
The Bears hired Jim Arthur as their new head strength and
       conditioning coach.
Arthur, 43, previously worked for the Bears from 2005-15 as
strength and conditioning coach (2008-14) and assistant strength
and conditioning coach (2005-07, 2015). During his tenure, the
Bears won three division championships and one conference title.
Arthur boasts 20 years of NFL experience. He spent the last six
seasons as Dolphins assistant strength and conditioning coach.
