Well to be honest, we needed a CB to play opposite of Johnson,
and a S to play next to Eddie Jackson. We picked up a speedster
at WR. The OL is a big unknown. Dont know how the Ts are going
to fare, and frankly I see RG as a huge gaping hole right now.
No way Mustipher plays there, he got tossed around at C, what do
you think will happen at G???

Not worried about RG. Bears drafted a bunch of guys that
project to guard. If worse comes to worse you can find an
experienced FA guard and sign him to a 1 year deal.
The big hole is LT - if that position gets resolved the Bears
       should be OK

JJ, get your resume ready. They are <a
       href="
  HTML https://www.bleachernation.com/bears/2022/05/05/the-bears-are-trying-to-hire-some-nerds/">hiring</a>...
Regarding LT, they are going with the kids, including Jones.
They won't go FA for LT unless they absolutely have to. I am
concerned about DT/3T. Hopefully they can sign Ogunjobi to a
prove it deal but it's not looking good...

Absolutely! And you dont want a rookie there and you need
experience more than HS and NCAA for a few reps. The point is if
you start a rookie against a proven NFL defense you are going to
       have growing pains maybe
       for the whole season.

And Getsy has been working with Fields trying to shorten his
delivery time because he knows Fields wont have time to throw
the ball with the length of time it took Fields to throw the
ball and the speed it takes for the defense to get through the
       sieve Oline we have.

The OL will have 4 new starters. How do you know if will be a
       sieve?

Fields is trying to shorten his throwing time because a quick
release is better than a slow one. Do you think he wouldnt work
on his release if he had the best o line in the NFL?

And how many of which will be rookies or almost rookies?
Whitehair and the new center will be experienced. The rest will
       be basically newbys

He would if he wants an NFL job. The shorter the delivery time
the better chance he has of getting the throw off.
