Now I’m seeing it’s actually pick 203 this year instead of a 6th
next year…which makes more sense…

Two takes:
Pessimist
Not sure this Ryan is doing any better than the last Ryan. If
this turns into a shit-fest of a team, people should be yelling
"Fire George" just like they should've been doing last year when
he re-
hired those stiffs who wasted another year. How anyone could be
with the Bears this long (and 10 years of president) could have
no clue how to create a winning franchise is indicative of that
Virginia's grandchildren somehow got the non-chlorine end of the
gene pool.....
Optimist
They know its a rebuild. Plan to be "competitive" this year, and
when they fail (due to too many holes and new systems, etc etc),
get some better draft picks to build their "vision" of the team.
I'm not sure which end of the spectrum is worse. We should be
seeing some ENTERTAINING (probably in an aggravating way)
football to say the least.....

We should trade our next two picks for two seventh rounders in
2026.

There's always the 22nd century to draft into.
Watching Halas Hall draft is like being tied down to a chair
with Sir Laurence Olivier about to insert a dental drill into
your eye.
