Need trench help. Bears should be targeting O-line and D-line
with their last 3 picks.
Bears will have a bunch of 8th round picks trying to win the
RG/RT starting job.
And maybe they should offer 1 year deals to Jason Peters and
Akiem Hicks.

Clearly Poles is all about BPA. I was livid when Pace picked
Kmet over Winfield. I was listening to Olin on a podcast saying
here we go again. But I still believe that Poles and Ian are
all over OL options maybe in the later rounds, UDFA, or FA.
Maybe Poles felt potential trade partners were trying to fleece
him as a rookie GM like Detroit did with the Adofo-Mensah. But
good on him to sticking to his guns and not forcing a WR or OL
when they had a higher player on the board.

The one thing that struck me was when Gordon got picked the sick
look he had on his face in the green room, when he found out it
was the Bears. Anyone else notice that?

Poles used all his allotted time to make his picks. I assume he
was fielding trade back offers.

Shades of the old Saints. Poles needs to find where he hid his
rabbits foot. Its time for a magical reappearance. I still think
Poles has Leno's number on speed dial.

Maybe Poles is higher on Jenkins and Borom then he led on?
I'd have preferred an OT or DT with the latter 2 picks but both
rookies address needs.
Bears just have too many holes to address in one draft.

Completely agree. But you see that its the defensive side of the
ball that gets the attention because of the new coach and that
they dont give 10 dry farts about what happens with the offense
this year including wins
and losses as those can be on the agenda next year with higher
draft picks. Perhaps Poles is hoping that some of these teams
that took tackles in this draft will be cutting their tackles
and he can swoop up a couple to
get him by for a year.

Trade down. Traded San Diego’s 6th back to them for two 7ths.
