The more I learned about this year’s draft the more I see this
is as good a year as possible not to have a first round pick.
There really aren’t top 10 players in a normal draft.
A winning GM said Hutchinson compares to Jared Allen and Chris
       Long.

One theme that keeps coming up is that this draft is deep at WR.
Hopefully everyone does not freak out if we do not select a WR
till the 3rd round. I think the wise move is waiting. Spend
the earlier 2nd on starting 3 technique DT and the later 2nd on
       starting OT or OG.

But I think everyone agrees there’s no Jamar Chase, Waddle,
       Justin Jefferson type of receiver.

Clemson has a free safety, been a starter for years, named Nolan
Turner. His senior year last yr he dealt with some injuries. At
       Clemson's pro day he had the fastest 40 at 4.46 & 4.47.
before the pro day he was projected to be an undrafted FA. He's
strictly a free safety (6'1, 201) & I think he can play in the
       NFL.

If the draft is deep through the top 100, then I'm thinking a
trade down of one of the 2nds and possibly snag a late 3rd which
might let the Bears address the 4 biggest needs: offensive line
(G or OT), CB, DT and WR.
Talent available will determine the order. Next pick isn't
until the 2 picks in the 5th where Bears could snag another
lineman, WR or DB or look at LBer.

With all due respects to Dallasbear I want to discuss my main
       focus of this draft:
  HTML https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/bears-seek-help-justin-fields-cb-first-draft-under-gm-ryan-poles
What I dont want to see Poles do is ignore the gaping hole at LT
by drafting the 5'6/200 lb highly athletic LT Joey Funnybunny
from Podunk State in the 6th round who is highly recommended by
       Aaron Donald

All the can't miss starting quality LTs will probably be gone
before the Bears pick at #39 as LTs are the most prized and
       sought after players.
I don't want any reaching. The Bears can't afford it.
