Well you better find a replacement. The good news it isnt an ACL
tear and done for the season. 5 losses in a row would be season
ending for the Bears

We have Williams and Herbert. If they IR Montgomery they can
move Nall up from the PS. They might be able to sign Pierce to
back fill Nall's PS spot.
I want to know what's up with Hicks. I know that Raiders have
backup guards but I also saw what the Lions did to us up the
middle.
Also, Borom should be close to returning off his high ankle
sprain soon. I doubt he'll replace either tackle though.
Big question though is whether Dalton is healthy this weekend.
Nagy says if he is - he starts.

I heard Biggs explain it like this: he thinks Fields will start
sunday. Nagy proclaiming a healthy dalton as the starter prior
to the game means that if fields is bad they can go back to
dalton without technically benching fields. if fields plays
well, they will keep going to him.

thru as his speed and quickness was his whole game.

Agree with Briggs, Nagy is just giving himself and Fields the
out for poor performance. Would much rather see Fields grow on
the field though the bumps of the the learning curve.

I don't read any of the Chicago sports pages anymore so I don't
know what Briggs actually said.
This Bears offense is basically the same as last year's. Dalton
is probably a slight upgrade over Trubisky in his ability to
read defenses. His mobility is not as good but he's certainly
not a statue.
Fields is really the offenses only hope this year to radically
improve. He's not a finished product but he's got to have his
2nd start some time - why not next Sunday? I see the
indecision. I see the issues in the pocket. But I also see the
accurate throws down the field that I haven't seen since Cutler.
I can almost accept Nagy starting Dalton, but if he does Fields
needs a bunch of series to get on the field, not one play here
or there.
