If you expect Nagy to depart from his system and game plan to
Fields' strength you guys have short memories. Nagy never
deviates from his system to accommodate his talent. He's always
been about square pegs and round holes. It's always been one of
his glaring flaws.

I am hoping to see more reliance on Montgomery, including some
screens. Roll Fields out, give hime two options to throw at, or
throw it away/tuck it and run. Don't just have him take a 7
step drop and run through the options.

Nagy never deviates from his system to accommodate his talent.
Nagy might not but you know Fields will. I'm not that concerned
with Fields and our offense I'm more concerned with our defense
stopping Mayfield, Chubb and Beckham.
I like offenses when they're unpredictable. Do the Bears always
have to go shotgun?

The Bears, I feel are on precipice, a razor's edge. They can go
one of two ways- and it starts today. They can become the team
we as fans want to see, or switch places with the Browns and
become the "new" Browns as the butt of jokes (IMHO that process
had already begun some time ago).
We can relish in the 85 Bears, the early 21st century Lovie's
Bears, but since then... not a ton went right. From Lovie's 10-6
firing, the Trestmess, Foxball, and now Nagyball haven't been
very comeptent.
Nagy's record doesn't suck totally, but one of those playoffs
(losses) was backed into in a year when it was expanded by a
game. And they lost that game looking like they backed into it
and didn't deserve to be there.
To add insult to injury, our old NFC Central rival Bucs have 2
SB wins. The closest the Bears had were the 2012 "if he had only
intercepted that ball" playoff game against the Packers and the
"double doink" from a few years ago. Otherwise, nothing.
Bupkiss. nada.
It starts today, which way whence you go, Bears ? We shall see.

Don’t expect a lot of wins with a rookie quarterback.
As long as he develops this season the roster can be tweaked
enough by cutting some salary and signing others to be a
contender next year

Last play of the last drive where they ran left right into the
teeth of the defense waiting...... ::) Heck the entire backfield
was sitting there. ::)
