Seriously outcoached again. Lots of missed assignments and
questionable decisions.
OLine played better than I expected. If both Borom and Peters
are lost for a multiple games we are in deep sheyit.
I didnt see anything from Dalton to make me want to see him play
anymore. If he's not making good consistent decisions he doesnt
offer anything.
Defense looks old. I hope they round into shape quick.
Ogletree was "cut him" awful. Secondary was garbage

As much as the offensive line was maligned I thought they were
one of the few bright spots. Whitehair and friends did a nice
job on Donald until the very end. Got to hope Peters and Borom
are OK.
Our offense makes our speedy receivers look like a bunch of
possession receivers. No one stretched the field. It is
difficult to put up points in the NFL with a ball control
offense. One mistake and the drive is dead.
Bears trick plays did not work: WR reverse, shovel pass to
A-Rob and the WR screens... all failed.
Defensively, well Stafford did whatever he wanted. Quinn and
Mack were held in check by a very good offensive line. Did you
catch those ratings of the Rams O-line? I saw about 4 guys that
were in the top 10 or 15.
The guy that the Bears need to get replaced is Marqui Christian.
He will be targeted. And Shelley isn't any better. I don't
recall seeing any plays with Vildor getting beat. He was one of
the guys I worried about.
Rams just have to much talent everywhere.

1st game of the season is always a stark reminder that Nagy is
the head coach.
Defense was awful. DBs a joke. Quinn and Mack are just stealing
money.

The game went as I expected it to, unfortunately.
Although the OL was better than I expected. They ran the ball
against a top rushing defense.
Offensively more if the same old problems in the red zone.
I saw no creativity on either side of the ball. No blitzes to
confuse the line, no offense attack to confuse the defense.

If this is our defense we are screwed. We needed them to carry
the offense at least in the beginning of the year.

Especially disappointing is the way they played with weeks to
prepare against this opponent.
It’s more understandable after the season starts and there are
only 3 days practice to get things together.
The Bears are the same Bears they have been for nearly all the
last 30 years.
Only Fields can change that.
I’m hoping if the OL is ok and we have some running game let the
new era begin.

I've always said week one is always a crap shoot. Its still
pre-season for so many of the starters. That said, the Bears
were just crap....
1. The Mel Tucker smell I get from this "defense" is
overpowering. Enough said on the lack of pressure, coverage,
tackling and on field awareness of supposedly professional
football players. EmBEARassing.....
2. I was actually surprised that Dalton actually looked like a
bona-fide starting NFL QB. He made some decent throws (and some
bad ones). That said, the swapping in/out of Fields is typical
Nagy. He can't get into any offensive rhythm with his play
calling and this just makes that worse. And there is just a
different feel when Fields is in... like something is special
going to happen. I can't quite put my finger on it....
3. The team indeed improved in speed (Montgomery was running
like a mad man out there) but fast or slow, Nagy has no clue how
to use players properly and consistently.....
4. Special teams coverage/returns looked better than in
pre-season. At least there is that....
FWIW this is a 6-7 win team if they play like this. Not
unexpected. And that will be enough for Nagyfense and Nagyball
to here to stay through 2022. Kind of depressing, no ?
Can't recall offhand the last time all 4 North teams lost. Only
the Vikings were in it at the end (Lions game was kind of fun to
watch them claw their way back). And of course there's the
Packer "debacle" (or "Gods little gift" depending on your
perspective) to enjoy :D

Sean Desai...your table is waiting. They need their check.
After last night's performance this media darling should be
waiting tables. Bears defenses over the years have been beaten
up but not consistently on deep balls.
Announcers kept saying Rams were playing cover 2 which prevented
anything deep - not sure what the Bears defense strategy was.

It was to let a guy from the other team get completely behind
them by 15 yards, to cleverly make stafford throw long. There
wasn't a bear in the tv shot for God's sake. THAT guy is
stealing money. Should be working at Dunder-Mifflen.
