Bush is going to be an advisor doing special assignments for the
Cubs.

Bleacher Nation on Jon Gray as a potential Cubs target. They
cite a Denver Post article that says Gray is looking for 3-4
years at $9-$10 million AAV. At that price, I think he's a great
target--a change of scenery from Coors (and probably the worst
organization in MLB) could be great for him.

I'd also still want to see the Cubs add another pitcher from the
top of the market, though.

Eduardo Rodriguez might be another SP it makes sense for us to
kick the tires on.

Only kidding of course. It looks like he joined the
organization after the cheating scandal. All in all, he seems
like a solid enough hire in the stats oriented era we're in.

I wonder if he's ethnically Uzbek. Not too many people from
that part of the world working in baseball!
