Bet he gets cut. I had high hopes for him before the lockout
       ended.

I actually can't fault Angelo for the Fantuz signing. At least
he was thinking outside the box. It's not like we're really out
that much if we cut him. It would have been great if he worked
       out but oh well.
Beats the heck out of cutting 2nd and 3rd round draft picks.

Welcome to over-reaction Tuesday! Pekin and Phil were for the
most part spot on for their remarks...most of the rest of
       you....spot-off.
Offensively, our 2 pressing concerns in the offseason on offense
were O-line and wide receiver. O-line did a pretty good job.
Webb for the most part held his own - he had a couple
semi-whiffs but none led to a QB sack. Carimi had another solid
game. Both Lance Louis and Chris Williams did a decent job too.
They both need more work considering they are lining up next to
new guys. Garza did well pass blocking but I saw him whiff on a
pull. I think these same guys live to play another week.
Now to the WRs. I said prior to the season that Roy Williams
and Devin Hester could put the Bears at the top of the most
       passes dropped list.
Hester is amazingly talented but amazingly inconsistent. Makes
a nice catch on a wide open pass along the sideline (though he
did lose his balance and step out of bounds). Then follows that
up with 3 bonehead plays: trips over his feet on an out pattern
that would have went for a TD, drops another TD pass on the same
series, and makes a bad decision not to follow his blockers on a
screen and gets hit with a 5 yard loss. More times than not
those screens and end arounds to Hester flat out don't work.
You love the big play potential but you need a WR you can trust
       too.
That brings me to Roy Williams. He's show the inconsistency of
Hester but not the talent...yet. I think he'll get better with
time but he is currently NOT beating out Johnny Knox at split
       end.
And if you noticed last night Knox was not playing with the 1s
meaning he's behind Roy, Hester and Bennett.

The year BEFORE the majority of the team's the Bears played HAD
winning records going into last season. They can't control how
they turned out in 2010. That's a weak answer.

Not counting the playoffs but during the regular season the
Packers beat FOUR teams with winning records.

Dallas, do you think we have a better team player-for-player
this year than we did last year? In other words, after adding
Roy Williams, Barber, Okoye, Gholston, Spencer, Spaeth and this
year's rookies... and subtracting Manu, Tommie Harris, Danieal
Manning, Greg Olsen, Kreutz, Aromashadu, etc... are we net
       positive for talent, or negative?
On paper it would appear we've improved significantly but on the
field it's been a different story. Carimi is definitely an
upgrade at RT... Spaeth is a better blocking TE than Manu...
Barber is better than Taylor (who I assume he will displace).
       Other than that...

On the field the players have to BRING it - team chemistry and
desire can swing the talent either way - positive or negative -
       or injuries
