Indeed... the only Bears preseason game I'm able to watch in my
area, and will be doing so with full attention.
Can't wait to hear the ESPN talking heads slurp all over Manning
while slagging Cutler. Though I doubt either of those QBs will
see much action tonight.

I'd love to see Cutler get to safely play a quarter and keep his
Jersey clean and the Gnats pull Manning after 1 series because
his is dirty :-)

Guys to watch:
all offensive lineman
ROY WILLIAMS
Gholston (is he good enough to put Wooten on IR)
Paea (he needs to stop standing up at the snap)
Marcus Harrison (unless he can play some DE it will be hard for
him to make this team)
Major Wright (we know he can tackle...)
Josh Moore (tackle somebody)
Chris Contie (tackle somebody)
Hurd (we know he can play special teams)
Sanzenbacher and Kris Adams (one of these 2 could make the
roster)
Dom DeCicco (can he win the 6th LB spot?)
Khalil Bell (does he take Chester Taylor's job?)
Harvey Unga (does he make the team or is he off to the PS?)
Kyle Adams and Andre Smith (if we keep 4 TEs one of these might
stick)

No, same as always they'll talk about our "world class defense"
and our shi-tty QB -- even though neither of those is true.

Nope...They will be discussing the 9 first half sacks from last
years game and a turnstyle at LT.

How old is your left tackle, Clifton? 35? Is this the season
his knees finally go?
He missed just a handful of games in 2009 and Rodgers was
sacked 50 times.

Yes Chad Clifton is a 12-year pro and 35. The packers are
holding him out alot this preseason to reduce the wear on his
knees, but he is not a turnstyle at LT.
Its not 2009 and we are coming off a SB win with him as the LT
starter. Backing him up is thrid year player T.J. Lang and
rookie Derek Sherrod. The packer will be fine. The bears however
if webb continues to be a turnstyle are in trouble because no
plan B is in place other than a major resuffling of the line.

Based on what I've been reading, Sherrod is not ready for prime
time... at least at OT, yet.
