The ceiling is 9-7.
If we have to cut Fuller and/or Hicks to get under the cap that
ceiling starts getting lowered.

We can only hope, signing Dalton is the step of several steps at
the QB position this offseason. This can't be the plan end game
to have Dalton, Foles, and a drafted QB.

I find it interesting that the Seahawks said not trading AT THIS
TIME. They want to do it after June 1st to spread out the cap
hit. Pace jumped on Dalton, as all of the other qbs went
yesterday, Brisset, Taylor, Fitzpatrick, Winston, and one other
that escapes me. If they can still swing a trade for
Wilson/Watson, they can throw Foles or Dalton into the mix as
part of the deal. I still like the 3 way trade with the Jets
and Seahawks, and now they can throw a backup qb in the mix to
the Jets. I mean this cant be the plan to go with Foles and
Dalton, right?

How much did we pay Ifedi last year? We just gave him $5mil for
1 year, that seems kind of high.

I don't think they can trade Dalton if they just signed him as a
FA. I don't think sign and trade works in the NFL. That is an
NBA thing.

Why couldn't you trade him? If that is just salary and no
signing bonus? If there is a signing bonus, we would be on the
hook for that.

Its being reported that Pace was going to give up the farm for
Wilson. Seahawks (thankfully) did not take the deal. Talk about
dodging a bullet for sure....
