Probably quite a bit of truth in that...
Dalton wasn’t that bad in Dallas...not as bad as I thought,
anyway...and their OL was worse than ours. They had much better
       WR’s, though...

Yes, he would. But we still don't have a SS and probably a RT.
Would be nice to get a nickel. Now some of these might be had
       in the draft.
And Hudson will be 32 before the season starts. Not saying
Mustipher is the answer, but he might become the answer. If not
maybe the 5th or 6th round?

A 32 yr old non-mobile QB demands more than maybe...
If Dalton/Foles becomes the 2021 QB Hydra, we better have one of
the best OLs in the NFL.
I still think Foles is trade bait and Dalton is Mentor and/or
backup for the next QB. But if that isn't the case, Massie
cannot be the last OL given walking papers.

Absolutely correct. And I still believe they draft a QB. Is it
Mond they go after? Maybe, unless somebody drops to 20. There is
too much smoke out there and we wont see it clear till
draft day. Seems to me I heard rumors about interest in Dalton
last year by the Bears. Not that I think he is worth what they
are going to pay him. This draft is going to be interesting.

Dalton. Andy. Dalton. The bears response to being bad and
slow is to get slower. Sure.

From what I hear, the Bears tried to pry Wilson from the
Seahawks. I think the Seahawks knew what we knew - the Bears
couldn't provide the ammunition for the Seahawks to get a
replacement for Wilson. Plus I'm not really sure the Seahawks
are ready to go into re-building mode.
I don't know what many of you were expecting. Like a young pro
bowl QB was just going to fall into their laps. It was going to
be Dalton, Winston, Fitapatrick or Alex Smith. Winston was
probably the guy with the most potential.
Maybe the Bears need a really bad season to get into the QB
sweepstakes. Bears have been in a purgatory the last 2 years -
not a serious playoff contender and not in the top of the draft
with the ability draft a potential top QB.

Dalton and Trubiskys career stats are quite similar except
Dalton doesn't have the wheels Trubisky does.
This isn't an upgrade and I don't see him running the RPO any
       better then Foles.

Dalton does not have Trubisky's athleticism, but he's not a
statue. He also has a decent deep ball and can read defenses.
With an improved O-line he should be...OK.
Speaking of the O-line, Pace's signing of Ifedi means he has a
starting O-line with Bars as the utility man. Bears could go
O-line in round 1 (and probably should) but they don't have to.

LT, QB, WR, or maybe edge or DB.

This is a big deal. I'm probably the biggest Mitch apologist
around, but he has always been absolutely horrible at the long
       pass.
