RRH signs with the Jaguars...good luck with that. At least he
       got paid...

I was always hopeful that he would turn into a stud DE for the
Bears given his size and speed. He was a very good backup for
the Bears, but now will get a chance to play more and possibly
develop into a top 3-4 guy. $14M guaranteed is not too shabby.
Good news for the Bears is its looking like 5th round comp pick
       in 2022.

As much smoke as there is around Wilson, I actually think we
have a better chance of getting Watson.
It sounds like he’s pretty adamant about not playing again for
       Houston.

Then to me it makes sense for the Jets to trade the second pick
for him. They get a young proven franchise QB and Houston gets
       Wilson.

I agree, unless the Jets are confident enough in their scouting
to think that 5 years of Wilson on a rookie contract makes more
sense than Watson at his current rate...

Perez was on Twitter last night crying over the fact that the
Bears wouldn't beat that offer NO made to keep Jameis...
He was on an island with that opinion, though.
That said, he would have been a much better option than
       Foles...or Trubisky...

       Ugh:
The Bears’ quest for a quarterback could lead them to Andy
       Dalton.
After Ryan Fitzpatrick agreed to terms with Washington, crossing
him off the Bears’ list, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune
reported that Dalton could be headed to the Bears.
That follows a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, who said
Dalton is generating “significant interest” from the Bears.
Last year Dalton started nine games for the Cowboys and was
mediocre, but the Bears may think “mediocre” is an improvement
for them at the quarterback position. Dalton previously spent
nine years as the starting quarterback for the Bengals.
With Mitch Trubisky hitting free agency, the Bears are down to
Nick Foles on the roster currently. It’s possible that Foles
could be the starter for the Bears in 2021, but with General
Manager Ryan Pace and coach Matt Nagy knowing their jobs are on
the line this season, they would surely prefer an upgrade. They
may think Dalton can provide that.

I wouldnt agree with that nor am I positive that Winston wins
the starting QB job with New Orleans. He might be given the
initial edge but not the job for the entire season.
And Dalton is a double ugh.
