Maybe the Bears can get a rehab discount on the KC LT Schwartz.

Schwartz was the RT, wasn’t he? I think Fisher was LT...

You are correct. Fisher tore his achilles and Schwartz the RT
has a back injury.
Fisher just might make it back by the beginning of the season.
Not sure the Bears have enough cap to even give him a 1 year
prove it deal.

June.

Jenkins played 3 games at LT in college. He has the mobility
for the position.

Jenkins had one start at LT his senior year. But he did start 3
games at LT in both his sophomore and junior seasons.
So it looks like there's some film on him at LT.
Here's what NFL.com Lance Zierlien says about Jenkins:
He can be an intolerant run blocker, looking to finish and bury
his opponent once he gets his block locked and centered. Jenkins
has good tackle tape, but his short arms and average range in
pass sets could be something to keep an eye on. Whether it is at
tackle or guard, Jenkins has the talent to become an early
starter and a successful pro.
His NFL comparison is to Joe Thuney, a guard.

Not that 40 times are end all be all, but it's nice to finally
have a QB who can actually connect with open WRs down the
field...
Darnell Mooney 4.38
Damiere Byrd 4.25
Marquise Goodwin 4.27

I’m not sure they shouldn’t just start Fields early on.
Big college program, has faced pressure games, highly
intelligent and can grasp a new offense, every physical tool
necessary.
