Let's hope so, but ya never know with this team. They could be
thinking starter.....we just seriously need some quality on that
line for a change....
Read a article recently on Jay Hilgenberg. Really made me miss
good quality top flight starters as offensive linemen on this
team....

I still think we draft a tackle, but with Ifedi re-signed and
Bars in house, this is depth if we trade up for a QB and
minimize our draft picks.
We need a CB and WR too.

Agreed. I think tackle is the favorite pick right now. O-line
depth is adequate. But if Mac Jones drops...
WR is a need but a corner is a bigger need. I think with the
5th and the four 6ths Pace will try to get lucky like he did
with Mooney and also try to find a safety to compete with Bush.

The Chicago Bears have brought back linebacker Christian Jones
after a three-year stint with the Detroit Lions.
Jones began his career with the Bears in 2014 when he signed
with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State.
After four years with the Bears Jones signed with the Lions.
Jones appeared in 45 games for Detroit over the last three
seasons before re-signing with the Bears on Tuesday.
Jones appeared in 63 games with 31 starts for Chicago during his
first years in the NFL. In 2017, Jones stated 11 of 16 games and
posted a career-high 90 tackles with two sacks and a forced
fumble before leaving in free agency. Jones was a full-time
starter for the Lions, starting 42 of his 45 games played for
the team over the past three seasons. He had 57 tackles for the
Lions last season.
Jones’ deal with the Bears is one year.

The Bears and former Chiefs RB Damien Williams have agreed on a
1-year deal.

Not good news for re-signing Patterson and not good for the
chances of Nall and Pierce getting of the PS, but he's a solid
backup for Montgomery. Good size/speed....just old for a HB at
29.
