The schedule continues on Wednesday, March 3, at 3 p.m. when the
Chicago Cubs and Javier Báez host the Seattle Mariners and Kyle
Seager from Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz. Jason Benetti will call
the action with analyst Jessica Mendoza.

They asked Hoyer if there were any "don't-sleep-on" guys. He
mentioned Holder, who had just pitched the previous inning. The
only other guy he mentioned was Kohl Stewart, who he said has
looked really good in his bullpens.
As a former high first-rounder, I'd have thought Steward might
be a big-arm guy. But per his fangraphs stats from 2018 and 19,
he was just a pedestrian 93, no faster than any other camp body
       or non-roster invite.
He's had a couple of years to work on things, so it might be fun
if he's got something now that he didn't before.

I rewatched the Fenter inning. I kinda liked his delivery.
Fastball looked fine but not special, as AzPhil's readings
suggest, he was the same as everybody else, and less than
Maples/Wilson/Alzolay yesterday. Looked like he might be able
       to locate his fastball.
The scouting of course was that he has a good curve. As happens
with lots of curveballers, if you live on the curve but can't
locate the curve, as was true yesterday, things won't look that
great. Still, his first outing and probably some nerves, so not
that rare for a curveballer to be off on his first game of camp.

I'm guessing he's not special enough to go out of your way to
give him a roster spot, but I'd like to keep him if possible.
But probably will need some kind of deal with Baltimore to make
       that work.
