Odor GS...4-0 Rangers after 1...
I’m not gonna say the ump was bad, but Rea wasn’t getting
anything at the bottom of the zone. The inning should have been
a whole lot different.

From Arizona Phil for Today's game (I'm not including all of his
breaking ball speeds, but some...):
For those of you who did not see today's Cubs - Brewers
game, here are the Cubs pitchers velo readings
Yu Darvish
FB: 95-98
CT: 92-94
Adbert Alzolay
FB: 92-95 - T 96
Rowan Wick
FB: 93-95
Duane Underwood Jr
FB: 95-96
CT/SL: 87-88
CV: 82-84
Ben Taylor
FB: 90- 93
C. D. Pelham
FB: 93-95
SL: 83
NOTES: Threw only one SL (which was nowhere near home plate),
and every other pitch was a FB (which is the one pitch he can
command)... I suspect he might start the regular season at
Extended Spring Training and spend a lot of time in the Pitch
Lab...
Dalota Mekkes
FB: 92-95
CV: 76-79
NOTES: A fine outing with the better FB velo he showed last
Saturday (that was missing on Tuesday)...
=============
I think Mekkes at 92-95 has a chance to become a major leaguer.

Lester 4K/0BB in 3 innings. Heyward saved him a HR, but that's
really nice to see Lester have a good outing.
Megill looked good, 95-96 fastball and threw some nice curves.
rodriguez throws very hard, and has a very share breaking ball.
But unfortunately he got pulled with an arm injury. Bummer,
bummer, byummer.

Rodriguez left with right biceps soreness. I swear on TV I
heard him say that he felt something pop.
