He’s a pitcher? Getting money early is always a good idea.
Rocker sure looks nice, but it is a long way until his junior
year.

So, Cubs did not sign 10th round JUCO catcher Wyatt Hendrie (one
of only two guys in first 10 rounds of MLB draft who didn’t
sign) nor 11th round JUCO SS Mack Chambers.
But, Jim Callis notes:
The @Cubs may not have signed their 10th-rder but did land a
nice arm in Georgia Southern RHP Joe Nahas. He came on late &
looked VG in the @Official_CCBL, running his fastball up to 95
mph & backing it up with a solid slider. His $135k bonus is the
most for a NDFA this year.

Looks like control could be a problem. Also seems to take a baby
stride from the wind. I wonder if the increased velocity came
from a mechanical tweak.
