Brach had a 1.80 spring ERA before today. Way too early to tell
about him.
Duensing didn’t look good all spring, on top of last season.
This being baseball, possible that Duensing accepts an outright,
gets his act together, and is a factor this season.

I thought JD said he was up to 92 today. His location was more
the issue today.

The Cubs play the Boston Red Sox today in the final exhibition
game of 2019. The Red Sox, who train in Fort Myers, Florida,
are on their way to Seattle for their opening game on Thursday.
The game starts one hour earlier than normal (2:00 P.M. in
Chicago) and will be on the MLB network an hour later. Since
the game is at Sloan Park, maybe we’ll get to hear Len and JD.

Leading off the game, Carl Edwards, Jr retired Andrew Benintendi
on a fly to Ben Zobrist in right field. He now has a hesitation
move that he used on the first and fifth pitches while the
second and third pitches were Pedro Strop like quick pitches.
