Cardinals lose, they fall to 5.5 back. It looks like they're
done in the division again...but the Brewers were also 5 back
about a week and a half ago.

This is sacrilege, but I think I'd prefer the Dodgers lose in
this case.

If the Dodgers are going to make it, I hope they win the
division. A Brewers/Rockies wild card would satisfy me.

Cardinals lose 17-4. They are now one game behind the Dodgers
for the second wild card.

first.

Brewers got a runner on third with no outs in the 7th, but the
Pirates got out of it. Still 3-1 Pirates through 7.
Yelich/Cain due up 3rd and 4th in the bottom of the 8th, so
getting the first two in the bottom of the inning would be
pretty big for the Pirates.

Leadoff walk to Thames in the bottom of the 8th. Not great.
