You don't think they'd like preventing the Cubs from winning the
division and forcing them into a 1-game scenario?

deGrom has been by far the most valuable player in the league by
WAR, even over Yelich. The only reason he's not going to win the
MVP is that pitchers don't win the award unless it's just a
really down year for position players.

I think that means a lot more to fans than it does to the
players on the field.
I also think it's going to be difficult for them to get up to
play their best tomorrow after the disappointment today.
Moustakas with a 1 out single to put runners on first and third
with 1 out. Tigers lead is about to be gone.

Guess we'll have an idea based on what lineup Shildt puts out
there. I'm betting it's nearly all the regulars.

Schoop double, tie game. Norris looked great in the first two
innings, but has been awful the last two.
I guess getting any help from the Tigers was a pipe dream.

in Denver.
The Rockies face Strausberg tonight and probably Scherzer on
Sunday.
