I watched the game and the Bears looked great on offense and
defense in the first half, then a zero in the 2nd half, to lose
28-27 in a late Bill TD.

Final score means nothing.
It was all about guys trying to make teams...and the guys who
have made a team not getting injured.

Grant and Nall had good games.

It may come down to Grant vs Cooper. Cooper has size and
experience but has kind of a roller coaster career - a couple
good years - a couple nothing years. Grant has bounced around
practice squads for a couple years and doesn't have Cooper's
size but he's got some speed.
I like Nall better than Mizell. Or do you just keep the FB
Burton? Or do you use that 4th running back spot at safety?
And if both Grant and Nall make the team - who gets #35?

Funny! I think that is Grant's 2nd pick this preseason.

If it came to that, there is no question it'd be Grant. I am
hoping it doesnt come down to that. Cooper should be #1 cut.

Actually, Cooper was already cut in the offseason and re-signed
to a more modest 1 or 2 year deal.
But if he can't play he's not even worth the lower salary.

Agreed. Which is why I said Cooper would be my #1 cut. Biggs
hinted that even after Saturday there would still be roster
moves next week before we play the Pack.

Saturday at 3pm is when all the teams have to make their cuts.
After Saturday the teams can start signing all the FAs from
other teams to either their roster or the practice squads.
Just cuz your on the team Saturday doesn't mean your on the team
Sunday.

Dallas, they have to be down to 53 by 3pm tomorrow. That doesnt
mean they wait till 2:59 to make the first cut. They can make
them a little at a time till they get to 53.
