Bears do not make a lot of big plays on offense. They have a
dink/dunk offense that needs long drives to score.
Allen Robinson had a game high 10 catches - 8 yard average.
Taylor Gabriel had some nice runs but 4 catches 7.5 yard
average. And Trey Burton had one catch last week. Tonight he
had 4 - five yard average.
Third receiver Anthony Miller....3 catches...5.5 yard average.
Longest plays from scrimmage. 18 yards on a pass play to Jordan
Howard. 2nd longest...pass play to Tarik Cohen - his only catch
was 17 yards on a broken play.

Relying too much on the D scoring which isn't going to happen
every game. Offense definitely needs to get on track and soon.
It's not looking good. The D is good but cannot do it all
themselves.

The D is awesome. The soft training camp shows though. They
get gassed in the second half. That will improve.
The O is a work in progress. I love that Nagy has the scripted
plays that actually score TD's. Trubisky and the offense should
grow as the year goes on.
I never felt the Bears would be great this year. This is the
year for Trubisky to learn how to become our franchise QB. The
D will make it fun and if they can both click at the same time
we will be rocking.

Turbisky was always a project. He had something like 13 games
started since high school. He lacks game experience and
currently has no internal pass rush clock. Hopefully it comes to
him over the season with good coaching. Otherwisecwe will need
another qb...

I too think Trubisky does not have the "it" factor, which,
unforunately is the case with every QB the Bears have had in my
lifetime except an uninjured McMahon.....
I like what Mack said during his on field interview that he did
not like the way the D ended their last drive (going prevent but
not keeping the Seahawks out of the endzone)....
The Bears have emerged from isolation and have bobbed to the
surface of relevance again (Nagy getting his 1st win even made
news on a few politcal sites as well)......
Officiating wasn't too bad. Some bad spots and an offsides
resulting in a sack of Trubisky are the bad ones that stand out
to me.
Anyone else think that if the Lockett TD would've been dropped
and with any other ref crew it would have been called D pass
intereference ? I like that they at least let them play.....
D was gassed and Mack was on the sidelines a few times in the
3rd- 4th quarter (I'd guess to freshen up for the last 2
drives). If they can stay healthy look out.....

6 SACKS?
Russell Wilson is not an easy one to catch normally

The defense rocks. The "Monsters of the Midway" are back. Thank
you Ryan Pace. The Offense is a WIP.....as expected. We need W's
to make the playoffs. Go Bears!

Mitchell played like Cade at times and it is annoying as hell,
but I swear I will be patient with this kid and expect this
offense to gell a bit in the latter half of the season. Nagy is
starting to sound like baghdad bob in the post game but I guess
that is part of the job when trying to develop a very green QB.
And I am seeing too many 3rd and shorts with Howard on the
sidelines.
Sure, there is always that fear that the Bears are on their way
to wasting a great defense with sub-par QB play...again.
But watching this defense will make watching Bears football fun
again...and that is a good thing.
