OK. Everyone R.E.L.A.X. We were not going to win anything this
year. We are looking for improvement this year. You can not
tell me that you did not see improvement in the first game from
the last game last year. Sure there are still a lot of things
to work on. They need to work on them and get better. They are
not a playoff team yet. Maybe by the end of the year they might
be contending for a spot but they are not there yet.

Who has better up coming linebackers than Roquan Smith, Mack,
Floyd? No one. Throw in Hicks. That's four guys. Plus Robertson
Harris - who seems he could turn into a monster - 6' 7".

Nope not gonna write off this season...yet. Save that talk for
the end of the year when we need excuses.
What were the Packers ranked going into this game...top 5?
Well we went into their house and were one play away from
beating them. And that one play was actually many plays. We
just had to catch that pick, or make that 3rd down, or not step
       out of bounds, etc.
Bears just got to avoid injuries (and recover some they already
have - I'm thinking Floyd and Shaheen) but Trubisky is now more
than ever the key. The defense, despite some issues in the
secondary, is solid. Front 7 could be best in the NFL -
       including the Rams.

One thing I noticed in the 4th quarter that was Trubisky was
throwing a bunch of laser beams right over the middle, and our
WRs/TE couldnt handle the passes. It must have been 4 or 5 that
were dropped. I would like to see that get fixed up.

I recorded the game yesterday, it replayed on NFLN. I haven't
been able to look at it yet!

OMG - You could drive a truck through that hole or throw it
       underhand!
If that wasn't photo-shopped then it could be time for Chase
       Daniels.

Click the link. It would have likely been intercepted. He
would have had to throw it low and away to the right of Burton
       to complete it.
When you see it in real time you will see that the Packer DB
would have likely undercut it and picked it off.
He had a split second to make the throw and he was still making
his drop at that point. I think he thought about throwing it
while not having his feet set but saw the DB streaking and
decided to dump it off to his left.

It is a throw that certainly could have been made. But the
picture above is not a realistic view of the play.
