Frankly, I think Nagy has the same go for it pedal to the metal
mentality. But the difference is that Belichick had the horses
and a HOF QB to turn that approach into TDs and the result of
Nagy's aggressive approach were a bunch of incompletions by a QB
that panicked when his 1st read was covered.

I was mildly surprised when Nagy hired Mark Helfrich as
offensive coordinator.
He has no NFL experience coming from the university of Oregon.
I see his hand all over the first quarter goofy lineups.
Remember Chip Kelly's offense at Oregon/ It was great for the
college level with Helfrich as OC. However, it didn't go over
so well when Kelly went to the NFL. Now I'm sure the offense
belongs to Nagy but I hope he limits the Helfrich influence.
Helfrich developed a lot of QB's at the college level, including
Marcus Marriota. He may well be a big asset developing Trubisky
but Nagy needs to know when to put the breaks on his ideas.

Maybe. Hard to tell from your living room if guys are open or
not. Trey Burton was the 3rd TE in Philly and finished the
season with 23 catches. Gabriel had 33. Robinson had 1 coming
off the injury.
Perhaps we were to quick to label them as pro bowlers? I think
we'll see some improvement next week.

Tower. Especially since the game attenders will be mostly Bear
fans

I watched the third quarter last night, and Trubisky took a shot
from Wilkerson, roughing the passer, that steroid boy Mathews
hit him on the other side. I am wondering if that hit
rattled/jarred him a bit. It seemed like after that all he was
throwing was super quick bubble screens left and right. I
couldnt bring myself to watch the 4th quarter, maybe tonight.

Looking at the positives. J. Howard had a very nice game. He
was catching everything thrown his way. If he keeps that up he
is going to be very, very dangerous.
Roy Robertson Harris definitely made his presence felt. This is
a great thing and hopefully he becomes a solid contributor for
years to come!

There were a lot of positives but they get overlooked when you
lose.
Not much from our rookies though. Smith had 5 plays....Daniels
may have played STs...Anthony Miller had 2 catches for only 14
yards...Bilal Nichols, Fitts and Wims didn't dress...
I've been a fan of Roy Robertson-Harris since he was signed. He
can rush the passer but now he's improving against the run. I
wouldn't be surprised if he's more than a solid contributor.
Let's not beat around the bush. It's time to start Roquan Smith
against one of the most elusive speediest QBs in the league -
Russell Wilson. Let's not wait until Barry Minter ....I mean
Nick Kiatkowski gets hurt.

Nick K looked very slow last game. They were isolating him with
routes and definitely targeting his players. He looks heavier
to me this year and seems slower. I do not think you lose by
going with Smith.
