I doubt we ever see the same lineup in back to back games this
year. It'll be like the same lineup every fourth game. That's
what happens when you have 9 guys that should be starting in 8
positions.

It seems like 10 guys, I think.
Jon Jay is making $8, which is not really a bench-type contract.
And, maybe Almora is going to play more CF than anybody else.
Seems only true fill-in bench guys are the back-up catcher and
Szczur/La Stella.

Yeah, I think Zobrist is the best fit there. But Joe really
does like Zobrist's contact ability behind Bryant and Rizzo.
I still wonder if they may be hoping that Heyward can hit his
old .270/.350/.430 for the first month or two of the season so
they can move him to leadoff (at least against RHP). Pre-2016
Heyward is a very good fit for leadoff.

That's what I was thinking before I saw this. Hard to keep
Zobrist or Heyward or Baez out of the Opening Day lineup after
World Series heroics. Easier to keep Almora and Jay out.
