Schwarber forgets bunting and hits one over the wall instead.

Ceiling is huge there. Great bat, great baseball IQ, bulldog
       mentality.

Uehara is getting hammered. I'm starting to worry about the
       bullpen.

Uehara will be fine as the 5th or 6th RHP out there. Rondon is
the #1 worry point. Beyond him, the big concern is that there
doesn't appear to be much help at the minor league level. Maybe
Zastryzny. Peņa and Rosario seem to be worthless. That could
       change during the season.
With any luck, our boy Pierce Johnson could be the salvation.

That would be well beyond simple luck.
Uehara was supposed to be the magic bullet protecting us from
the lack of lefty options in the pen - because, you know, he's
       so tough on them.

Uehara will most likely be fine, Spring Training stats are
meaningless. Right now, Uehara isn't even needed to face the
top lefty hitters because Montgomery is the top lefty reliever.
Rondon is a little bit of a cause for worry because he never
really came back strong from his injury last year. But every
good bullpen in MLB has a top guy or two who has some injury
       concerns right now.
Fangraphs still has the Cubs bullpen projected as #4 in MLB at
5.3 WAR, and that's with Montgomery still projected for only 10
relief innings. Project him out to a normal reliever load, and
the Cubs probably jump to at least second (Yankees and Cleveland
are both at 5.4 WAR; Dodgers are first at 5.8). The bullpen is
       fine.

I envy your cavalier lack of concern. I think it's the only
(barring major injury problems) potentially severe vulnerability
on an otherwise very strong team.

It would be nice to have a perfect pen, but, how many pens do
you actually think are better? Not asling you to look it up and
there are a couple for sure, but unless best pen in baseball is
the goal, it seems good enough. Fangraphs says is fourth, which
to me is plenty good. I think there is always going to be
vulnerability for any bullpen and it's just something that goes
       with the territory.

Most teams would kill to have the talent and depth the Cubs have
in the pen. If Rondon sucks, then the Cubs can slot in Edwards
in the 8th. They might even if Rondon is back to his old self.
Strop is one of the better 7th inning guys. Then your looking at
some combination of Grimm/Uehara/Duensing/Smith/and they odd man
out of Rondon/Edwards/Strop for the sixth. If this is your
major worry, well that is a .001% problem.
