Thanks Reb. That answers most of the questions, and is probably
as close as we will get. I would like to get a definition of
the paragraph
"Under MLB's collective bargaining agreement, full-time
ballplayers, who were with their teams from June 1 to Aug. 31,
govern how the postseason cash is distributed and to whom."
The 25 man roster is hardly constant, even from June 1 to August
1. Hammel was sent down to the minors for two days. Does he
get a vote? Schwarber was not on the roster at all during that
time. Does he get a vote? Patton was up and down a half dozen
times during that time. Does he get a vote?
None of the above is of any importance whatsoever. I am just
curious about such things.

I expect extreme generosity regarding awarding of shares. That
would be the Cub Way.

This board was essential in advising, encouraging, and pushing
the Cubs to the title and we should get a full share. Dave 23
and I will divide it up among board members.

Yeah, it's sure a change to be in the position that the Cubs are
now in. And Jim Hendry is a classy guy, heaping praise on the
job that Theo has done in the way that he does.

Yes, it's been really nice to see Epstein giving credit to
Hendry and Hendry so effusive in his praise of Theo and the
front office.
What a near best-case scenario this season has been!

reb, thanks for that link. Really interesting. Classy. I also
thought the comments from Mrs. Hammel were very interesting.
