I am reading the Bears are looking to trade down. Unless
someone they like drops and then they may trade up a few places
to get them.

I guess I'm not getting all the recent love for Danny Watkins.
OK, he's an ex-firefighter and hockey player so yeah, the
intangibles are there. But he's also 26 and green as grass with
something like only 3 or 4 seasons of organized football under
his belt. So basically you're looking at a guy who won't be
NFL-ready till he's had a couple of years of NFL coaching, which
means he starts contributing at 28, which means an NFL shelf
life of 3-4 years.
And for this he's worth a 1st round pick? Maybe someone who's
seen the guy play a lot can enlighten me but I'm not seeing how
this guy can be the top-rated OG in the draft as some have him
currently rated.

Isnt Watkins super strong? Something like 44+ reps at the
combine or was that someone else? I like the firefighter/hockey
player combo, too bad about this age...
