Yes just like opinion as to what we need here on the board. It
will make watching the draft tonight that much more interesting
just to see just what the Bears do

Don't be surprised at all if we all stay up till 1 AM for the
Bears pick... only to have them trade out of it.
Just sayin.

The only way this Baldwin kid makes any sense at all for us is
if Martz has already given notice that he's done after the 2011
season and we plan on installing a more conventional offense in
2012.
He is not disciplined, not a hard worker and only marginally
coachable... which would make him and Martz oil and water.
And even if we are drafting him for 2012, that's still stupid
cause you don't spend 1st round picks on guys that won't help
you for 2 or 3 years. I see a slightly faster version of Mike
Williams (the first time around) in this guy. Or maybe Roy
Williams at best.

6'4 228 4.50
Strengths:
• Great height and bulk with long arms and big hands
• Athletic with good speed and great leaping ability
• Aggressive with terrific ball skills and body control
• Vertical threat who can separate and stretch field
• Strong, physical and knows how to use his big frame
• Impressive catch radius and will make circus catches
• Able to effectively get off the line and beat the jam
• Runs hard and with some power after the reception
• Durable w/ lots of experience versus top competition
• Still has considerable upside to work with / develop
Weaknesses:
• Inconsistent and won't always play to talent level
• Hands are erratic and will drop some catchable balls
• Isn't explosive with average acceleration and burst
• Route running is lackluster and requires refinement
• Not very elusive and won't create in the open field
• Is not nearly as good of a blocker as he should be
• Questionable work ethic and not a great teammate
• Immature with some off-the-field character concerns
Was a 2½-year starter for the Panthers --- Named 1st Team
All-Big East in 2009 and 2010 --- Father, Jeffrey, was a
defensive lineman at Pitt from 1981-84 --- Cousin, Charles
Fisher, was a standout defensive back at West Virginia (1995-98)
and went on to play with the Cincinnati Bengals --- Hails from
Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, which is the same hometown as Mike
Ditka, Sean Gilbert and Darrelle Revis --- Also a standout
basketball and track star in high school --- Garnered Big East
All-Academic notice in 2009 --- Was arrested in May of 2009 and
charged with misdemeanor indecent assault, summary harassment
and summary disorderly conduct after an alleged incident
involving a female student but was later found not guilty ---
Publically criticized coaching staff and quarterback following
the 2010 season --- An overrated prospect who isn't as good as
he thinks he is --- Undeniably talented and an impressive
physical specimen but is one-dimensional and might lack the
intangibles needed to maximize immense potential.

before we pick 20 picks later.
