Bears offensive line coach Mike Tice loves Wisconsin OT Gabe
Carimi "so much he'd adopt him," according to SI.com's Peter
King.
Trade: The Bears trade 1[29], 3[93] and 5th in 2012 to Tampa Bay
for 1[20]
1[20] OT Gabe Carimi [Wisconsin] 6'7" 315lbs.
The Bears move aggressively to get the OT that Tice wants.
Carimi is a safe pick that can start at LT or RT and should
provide the Bears with the flexibility that they want with so
may positions unsettled.
Trade: The Bears trade 2[62] to Tennessee for 3[76], 4[108]
3[76] DT Terrell McClain [South Florida] 6'2" 292lbs.
McClain is a solid effort pass rusher with the ability to
disrupt the back field. He may not have the athletic ability
that Austin and Wilkerson have, but he will fit into the
rotation early.
4[109] C Tim Barnes [Missouri] 6'4" 300lbs.
A stout pass blocking center that can backup and develop behind
Olin Kreutz before taking over in 2012.
4[127] CB Jalil Brown [Colorado] 6' 205lbs.
A big physical CB that can come up and tackle and has starting
potential.
5. WR Austin Pettis [Boise St] 6'3" 209lbs.
A big WR that has solid hands, but may never be more than a #2
or #3 WR.
6. LB Eric Gordon [Michigan St] 6' 230lbs
A developmental LB with speed and tenacity to play special teams
early.

Interesting, but its very doubtful the Bears trade up for
Carimi. Angelo has no history of trading up.

Every draft, the draftniks project that as many as ___
quarterbacks could be taken. Fill in the blank, this year it is
like 6 if I recall. Then on draft day, those QBs don't get
drafted until later and the draft falls as you expect it would.
Ponder in the first round? C'mon...

1 3 and 5 to move up 9 spots. I dont think I am too hip with
that at all. Dont know that much about Carimi, if he is worth
such a steep price.

I don't think there's consensus at all that Carimi can play LT
in the NFL. What would likely happen on the Bears is, he would
start at RT with the hope that Webb can make the jump to LT.
I would give our 1st and 4th (this year) to get him, but the
price listed in that mock that JJ reported is way too high.

The only way this makes any sense is if the Cardinals bring down
