It's important for a catcher to be able to construct a good
sentence.
Employing the tools of ignorance? Sounds like English teacher
material.

Cubs break up the college RHP draft so far to take 1 college LHP
and 1 college SS inbetween 5 college RHP so far today. College
righties today are 6 feet to 6-1. The lefty is 5-8. Yesterday
was talk college righty, today seems to be short pitcher day.

Cubs took only one Senior first 10 rounds--the Dartmouth guy, so
seems like no money saved for any overslot guy, along with low
pool. So, no money for high-ceiling HS guy. Straight college
draft. Reminds me a bit of 2013 after Bryant, mostly college
pitchers: Zastryzny, Masek, Skulina, Frazier, Garner, etc. Only
now-promising guy that draft was overslot high-ceiling HS
Clifton--probably can't do that now.

The 5'8 lefty is Wyatt Short, who is Ole Miss's closer. He
throws gas.

Cubs took another short guy (5'10) named Short later--17th
round, a SS.
Must be cracking up in the draft room.

Where are they going to assign all of these pitchers if a good
number of them sign? Strange

Cubs re-drafted Delvin Zinn. He was a 28th rounder last year,
but went to Moo U instead. He left there and went to Itawamba CC
in NE Mississippi, and the Cubs took him again, this time in the
23rd round.
