Cutler took a beating. No excuse for not making the 4th and 1,
the center plain and simply fukked the exchange.. The offense
sukked in the second half, but I blame the D, they couldn't get
off the field (same as the last few years).. Agree about Willie
Young, I had to look hard a couple of times to see if he was
actually on the field..

Freeman was all over the field. Pass rush was inconsistent.
The d tackled well but still looked pretty slow to me,
especially the DB's.

If this was the 6th or 7th game I would have a problem, but the
first, want to see some improvement next week. We might be a
year away from being competitive. But still, it seemed like we
might be there.

I thought the O line played like dog crap. Same with the D line.
Miller had 85 yards at half running.
Cutler just sucked in the second half....that pick was
inexcusable......no one within 10 yards of the ball. WHEN do we
get rid of this joker?
DBs were sloppy at times.
White and Alshon can not drop passes.

Not to make excuses, especially for Jay, but that INT was on
Kevin White as he didnt run the right route. Just saying.

Absolutely on White. If he would not have stopped, he would
have been right where the ball was thrown too. You run a route
for a reason.

I didn't see the game but if the OL sucked so bad, can you
really blame Jay?
sounds like we had a chance to win against a pretty good team,
sounds like a reason to be optimistic.

Lamar Miller took a pounding. Effective early and not so much
later. He won't take a season of those hits if they continue to
rush him 25 times a game.
Not a bad start. Give the Texans credit. Would like to see
them send White on a flyer, but maybe they were taking it easy
on him with the hammy

Texans have some BEASTS on Defense - and if Cushing doesn't get
hurt - things would have been worse

This team is pieces and parts, just not a comprehensive complete
entity as of yet.....
There were some flashes amidst some dreck. Good plays and bad
plays each drive it seemed. The problems with dealing with some
new pieces and don't forget OC. IMHO, if this game was played in
week 17 with the same players on both sides, the Bears win....
The Hoyer era will begin soon if Cutler takes a beating like
that too many more times. Tough son of a gun.....
Not to shit on White, but it appears he's having the same
problems he had in the preseason- finishing routes etc. That's
disturbing but correctable.....
Special teams were average- I guess that's an improvement from
the tire fire they were at the start of last year......
The Defense can develop into something special.....
This is what the whole season will be like- frustrating with
some glimpses into "what can be".....
Some decent pieces and parts. That's what they have right
now....
