If the Bears play like this during the season 0-16 is very
likely. However since "its only preseason" and even I could call
the coverages on D (they were so vanilla) I don't think it will
get that bad. Of course I could be totally wrong....
The Bears O was sleepwalking during the 1st half. WTF. Give
Cutler some orange juice or something. He's the best starting QB
in the NFL who has diabetes but of course he's the ONLY one.
Only the Bears have a QB like that....
His passes were off or half-assed (the Jeffery drop if it was on
target was a TD. Catchable, but off target still).....
Conner Shaw getting hurt (they didn't show the hit so it must've
been bad and broken or something) sucked. Just like this jinxed
team to finally get a QB with a pulse who then gets hurt. ****
Hoyer must have some good Karma working for him.....
The D had a few moments "Oh gowd" moments good and many "oh gawd
dammit" moments today. To be expected with so many young guys in
       the lineup......
Not a time to panic but it really shows why there is NO NATIONAL
BUZZ about this team. Between the "Who the Heck is that ?" and
"WTF was that" plays its probably better that way.....
BTW it would be nice to have one game with no false start or
illegal formation penalty on the 1st string guys like the rest
of the "big boys" in the league.....
If the Bears are angling for a top 10 pick they are sure off to
       a good start....

If Fox is trying to tamp down expectations of this year's team
he's doing a BANG UP job so far.....
Injuries aside, I really wonder if Magazu is really any good and
Loggains may be Shoop version 2........
But "its only preseason" so let's hope its all smoke and mirrors
       :D

I actually felt the D played pretty well considering the field
position and how the O kept going three and out.
       The O? WTF?
Good thing they didn't give Alshon a huge contract. Penalty,
dropped passes and just flat out piss poor effort from him
today. The O was 100% out of sink all day.
       Brutal.

Hopefully the Bears can put Shaw on IR so they can keep him for
next year and he can learn the system better. They will
probably just give him an injury settlement and cut him though.
       Anyone else missing Slauson?

Yes. Was thinking about Slauson today. Pace really screwed the
pooch cutting him. First major mistake he has made IMO.

The 1st drive of the 2nd half the O looked like it should've in
the FIRST drive of the half (even though it stalled and Gould
missed the fg). Why did it take a halftime ass chewing (assume
something happened there to light their hair on fire) to play
like you should from snap 1 of the game ?
At least it shows they have a "switch" to flip but Fox has to
figure out how turn it on from the start of the game. The sleep
walking Offense in front of the home crowd is not a way to
endear them to this team. And it would be nice to go a whole
game without at least 1 false start and 1 illegal formation
       penalty....
Fox hasn't had his "Trestman" moment yet but it could come this
year. BTW Trestman's moment for me came in training camp when he
told the D to stop batting down balls at the LOS- it was from
that moment I felt that "uh oh" gut feeling the Bears were in
       deep trouble.
       But there were positives:
       1. Leno appears (suprisingly) to be the most consistent Oline
       player at the moment.
       2. The D was flying around (not always smartly though) and they
       hit the QBs a lot.
       3. "It was only Preseason"
On to week 4 and seeing a lot of guys play who will not be in
       the NFL by week 5.......
And that picture of Shoop creeps me out :D
