It would nice if Jake Long could make the team - very
experienced but coming off serious injuries in 2013 and 2014.

Whiich of the undrafted rookies would you say has the best shot
of sticking with the team when the season starts? --
       @jonhowcroft
It’s really premature to make a very good guess at this because
we haven’t seen any of these players in full pads yet. We also
don’t know what kind of injuries are going to shake out when
camp starts and preseason gets going. I can tell you that
Harvard tight end Ben Braunecker got the largest signing bonus
of any undrafted rookie from the team at $10,000. But the
difference of a couple thousand bucks isn’t going to sway the
decision makers when it comes time to make roster decisions.
Certainly tight end is a position to keep an eye on and Joe
Sommers is a candidate that might be able to play there and at
fullback as well. Outside linebacker Roy Robertson-Harris is an
interesting developmental prospect and he received a $7,000
signing bonus. We’ll get a better idea of what opportunities
will be there later in the summer.

I'm hoping for Braunecker to make the team and keeping my eye on
Roy-boy as well. These 2 are my top FA rooks. And that FA rook
WR seems to be making some plays...Kieren Duncan.

The Chicago Bears addressed their offensive line depth Thursday
by signing former Carolina Panthers tackle Nate Chandler, Rich
Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports. This according to a
person with knowledge of the situation.
Chandler, who turned 27 on Wednesday, entered the league as an
undrafted free agent and as a defensive tackle in 2012. The
Panthers moved him to offense, where he started 19 of the 37
games in which he played. His main position is right tackle.
Chandler missed most of last season while on injured reserve. He
injured the meniscus in his right knee in 2014, and the
surgically repaired knee became problematic in September 2015.
The Panthers placed him on injured reserve after Week 1, then
       released him in March.

Guess the 'guys' we had in the OTAs vying for the swing tackle
       spot have been found wanting.
We'll have to see how Chandler's knee holds up.

Plus I didn't see where Chandler had experience playing on the
       left side

Correct, but he has experience playing defensive tackle. This
reminds me of Big Cat Williams who came to the Bears as a DE and
       was converted to a RT.
