No it won't be. This is all about leverage.
Would you rather have no draft, no salary cap or floor and have
football ruined forever or have a chance to lose a few games
this year and good competitive football continues?

The players "association". They are trying to make the NFL
operate as 32 seperate businesses. That means no draft and no
salary cap. You see if there is no union you can't collectively
bargain. If they do they can be sued for violating anti-trust
rules.
The lawsuit brought by Brady and Brees and a few others attacks
the NFL. If they win there will be no draft or salary cap or
salary floor. The teams will have to bid against each other for
every single player coming out of high school and college.

Only if the players get their way.
The players don't really want it to go away but it is the legal
leverage they are using and wether they want it to or not they
may win and it may be gone. My guess is after the court
decisions are made and both sides knows who has more leverage
then they will get a deal done. It will end up being very
similar to the deal the owners offered and the players walked
away from. DeSmith is screwing the players the owners and most
of all the fans because he is doing this to help his political
career.

KTUL-8 in Oklahoma is reporting that former 49ers and Giants
cornerback R.W. McQuarters was shot Friday night after leaving a
friend’s house in north Tulsa.
McQuarters was reportedly shot in the back by a man described as
wearing a ski mask. He was able to drive himself to the
hospital, and is now in recovery mode.
The No. 28 overall pick in the 1998 draft, McQuarters spent 11
years in the NFL as a cornerback and return specialist. He last
played with the Giants in 2008.
McQuarters finished his career with 14 interceptions, returning
three for touchdowns.

Most players made millions off the draft when they were drafted,
why would they complain?
