Everybody kept waiting for the Deadskins to just cut Fat Albert
too. It never happened till the season was over. A team in
need of a QB can not just wait till the end of the year for the
Deadskins to just cut him.
Talk around DC is just to keep him if you can't get what you
want for him. He makes a great option if Rex gets hurt or flat
out sucks. Which we all know both are highly possible. So do
the Deadskins fans.

Listened to the radio during the Queens pick. Lots of boos in
the background and I could detect some WTF tone in some of the
radio head analysis.
Solid d-line for Detroit got better. Hopefully they will
continue to fail to protect their QB, play 2nd string QBs, and
have a confused incompetent secondary. But the needle is
definitely pointing in the right direction.
F-uck the puke.

I somehow expected the Redskins to take a QB and they traded
down instead.

The 2nd WTF pick was Ponder to the Vikes. Let's just hand
Fairley to the Lions. I never thought I'd see the run on subpar
QBs like we did in this draft.

I was watching the draft with my Vikings fan brother and he is
livid about what they did last night. Not only that they
reached for such a mediocre QB prospect but that they handed
Fairley to the Lions. That selection of Ponder has "panic pick"
written all over it.

They were saying the Vikes were trying to trade down. It would
be funny if it was Angelo that screwed that up too. ;)

I can't believe that with Nick freakin Fairley sitting there at
12, that not one single team wanted to trade up to get him.
He must have seriously put some people off with his interviews
but I believe a lot of teams are gonna regret not grabbing him
before it's all said and done.
The other thing that may have happened is that they had a deal
in the works to trade down but once Locker and then Gabbert went
off the board they changed their mind and decided to stand pat
before all their QB options were exhausted.
