There was a day when the Lions drated Joey Harrington and
everyone on the boards just knew he was going to shred our
defense for years to come. Especially with all those weapons at
WR they had.
Just goes to show that not everyone can predict the future.

If I were a Viking fan I think my best-case scenario would be
that Nick Fairley falls to 12, and then with their 2nd rounder
they pick up either Christian Ponder or Colin Kaepernick... who
might not step in and be the guy at QB this year but should be
ready to go in 2012 after a year behind another "bridge"
veteran.

I think the Vikings are going to get McNabb.

I think the Vikings are going to sign McNabb and draft a QB in
the 2nd round. And they'll spend their 1st round pick on
whatever defensive player they think will have the most
immediate impact.

McNabb to the Vikes? Not the worst destination for him. McNabb
probably has a good season or two left in him.

Thats the way to play it,bring in a vet and teach the next guy
the ropes at QB.

The word is the Cardinals would like to snag him also, and do
the same as Minnie,
sign a vet and draft a rookie.

Beyond the fact that Danny Synder is a clueless dipsh-it and
Mike Shanahan has lost it as a HC, I'm at a loss for why McNabb
didn't work out in DC. It seems like almost as soon as the
trade with the Eagles had been made, the Skins organization
starting stacking the deck against him. Very strange,
considering their absolute lack of any other viable option at QB
last season.
I would be very surprised if McNabb does not show himself to be
a much better player with either the Vikings or the Cardinals
than he was in that dysfunctional Redskins organization.

Nobody can sign McNabb. They will have to work a trade for him.
Washington signed him to an extension the week after they
benched him.
Yeah. The week after they benched him for Grossman.
