[/quote]Actually, mimicking MLB led us to the final decision.
Even MLB teams have limits, and they have them for a reason. It
forces the GM's to make decisions. That's where we are at. We
have 13 keepers. Allowing a handful of owners to keep more is
unfair to others. If you have a player that's out for the year,
decide...do I want to keep this guy and DL him once the season
starts, or do I see if I can draft someone better. Decide.
Just like the big boys.

That was why I suggested using milb slot, so still a cost. But
I can understand if cost isn't sufficient.

Which I guess already shot down, but if revisit in future,
another thought might be first round minor league pick
forfeiture if wanted protect injured guy.

I have the following players on the Block:
SP- Jerad Eickoff..young guy only 25 under control for a
while.... Look at his last 4 starts pretty impressive. He is 1
of 3 pitchers to SO Bryce Harper 3 times in 1 game last year. I
really like this guy. Break out?
Tyson Ross..only 28....... 2 years of club control left...Solid
2-3 on most any team.
SS- Andrelton Simmons... only 26.... New Team Angels...
Projected for 450 pts at SS.... Breakout?
Nick Markakis....... Professional hitter will score 500-600 pts
every year....
Jackie Bradley Jr.....only 25 ... Had somewhat of a breakout
last year... lots a potential and a 830 OPS in 73 MLB games.
Trea Turner.... Top 10 prospect on many lists..... Not looking
to give him away but might include him in the right deal.
Looking for 2 or 3-1 deals.. potentially draft upgrades or minor
leaguers or position upgrade.

Give me your dates in later March that are BAD for you for the
ML draft.

Actually, I'll run that today...I started putting it together
the other day (compiling reverse standings, percentages, etc),
and then got sidetracked with work and let it slide...
