I wonder if the Bears might consider giving Gase the title of
assistant head coach and some more dinero to keep him from
leaving

Hind sight is 20/20 and if we keep Marshall I don't draft White,
cause we had Alshon. And I agree that Gase had a huge impact on
Jay....but when things break down and he falls into old habits I
bet he would start throwing to Marshall, and we would all be
scratching our heads.

Doesn't matter - if he's offered a head coach job he's gone.

Not if he doesn't accept the offer.

Here’s how the current draft order looks, heading into Sunday:
1. Titans, 3-10, .471 strength of schedule
2. Browns, 3-10, .512
3. Chargers, 3-10, .521
4. Ravens, 4-9, .482
5. Cowboys, 4-9, .547*
6. 49ers, 4-9, .547*
7. Lions, 4-9, .571
8. Dolphins, 5-8, .467
9. Jaguars, 5-8, .471
10. Saints 5-8, .538
11. Bears 5-8, .541
12. Buccaneers 6-8, .454
13. Rams, 6-8, .530
* The Cowboys are head of the 49ers based on the second
tiebreaker, a worse conference record.
Ever notice it seems no matter how bad the Bears suck they
rarely get a good draft pick.

Bears are still not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs,
unbelievably. They will be most likely following Sundays game...

How do you plan an Offense with a WR corp you never saw ?
That's a tough one. We know we have them ... they just never
play.
That being kept in mind that they COULD be there next season
and perform as
expected, wouldn't that make the Offense formidable ?
Should we go to an all Defense draft ... IF ...
it looks like the WR corp is actually going to play next season
?
Who would you draft on Offense or F.A. ?
Who would you draft on Defense or F.A.?

An easier question to answer is what wouldn't the Bears draft on
offense and defense.

Yeah, we're in a spot where talent anywhere is a benefit, sadly
and incredibly. When you look at a team like the Cardinals who
are stocked everywhere, and then look at the mess this team is
in, it's hard not to be envious. I cannot see this team making
the playoffs next season, either, with the incredible lack of
talent it has. Emery, Angelo et al the last few years have just
decimated the talent level on this team. It's really amazing
that Fox was able to get anything from this mess. We're probably
6-10 this season, headed for 8-8 maybe possibly a 9 win season
next, really depending on whether they can pull talent out of
every avenue available-draft, FA and UDFA.

I wonder what they will do with Bushrod. I think Leno is going
to be our LT next year. Long might be our RT but could the
Bears move Bushrod to RT and slide Long back inside?
