I found this from Brad Biggs of the Trib interesting:
That being said, GM Ryan Pace has been pretty productive to
this point with the highlights being shoring up the inside
linebacker position with the additions of Danny Trevathan and
Jerrell Freeman and adding defensive end Akiem Hicks. Keep in
mind the Bears need another starting defensive end. Fortunately,
that position does have some depth in the draft.
That comment amplifies my comment above about having bookend DEs
next year. Getting Hicks is just one need, we still are one
short for sure. If there is a better value at #11 I am sure the
Bears will explore that but it doesn't mean their DE need isn't
real.

3 - Carl Nassib - DE - Penn State
4 - Miles Killebrew - SS - Southern Utah
5 - Jerell Adams - TE - South Carolina
6 - Willie Beavers - OT - Western Michigan
6 - Jalin Marshall - WR - Ohio State
6 - Isaac Seumalo - C - Oregon State
7 - Taveze Calhoun - CB - Mississippi State

I like Killashmoo. I hope we get him. I don't see Wentz dropping
to 11 but I could see Elliot there at 11 or Paxton Lynch. That
might be more realistic.

As for a TE, I was watching Baylor Basketball in the NCAA and
the anouncers were saying the big guy there and I failed to
catch his name used to play football and was hoping to get
drafted to play football again. The only guy I saw who had a
football body was this 6'8 273 lb dude. Looks like a TE to me.
Wish I had paid more attention enough to catch his name.
