I just completed a mock using Walterfootball as the resource
for my selections. It's quite interesting how mocks wind up
being so different.
1) Vernon Hargreaves (CB)
2) Shaq Lawson (DE/OLB) I don't see how he falls this far.
3) Will Fuller (WR)
4) Joe Schobert (OLB)
5) Kevin Hogan (QB)
6) Tyler Martz (OT)
6) Kolby Listenbee (WR)
6) Josh Forrest (ILB)
7) Jake McGee (TE)
My only problem is I missed out on the top tackles.Oh
well, hopefully,we can land Cordy Glenn (OT) in free agency.I
don't think the Bills can afford him as they are in the red with
respect to the salary cap. They'll need to cut players in order
to comply.

It is crazy that the Bills are against the cap.

Just finished another mock with the nfl draft geek's data base.
1) Myles Jack (OLB)
2) Paxton Lynch (QB) this would be a steal, but, will never
happen!
3) Kyle Murphy (OT)
4) Miles Killebrew (SS)
5) Artie Burns (CB) another unlikely steal.
6) Evan Boehm (C)
6) D.J.White (CB)
6) Jake McGee (TE)
7) Kolby Listenbee (WR)

I have done at least 30 mocks, I would guess, and have never had
Hargreaves available to pick.

So having done so many mocks, who will be the Bears first pick,
IYO?? Who keeps popping up first?

I think I have taken Myles Jack first more than anyone else.
I would be good with that, too.

On the other hand the one that counts id the one done by Ryan
Pace. He is our GM. And this is what the Trib had to say:
All of this only emphasizes the difficulties of the
evaluation process, not to mention the pressure now on Pace in
what could be the most important draft of his tenure as Bears
GM. This time around, Pace has had a full year to understand his
roster needs. He has had time to shape his staff and the
scouting process to his liking. He has a depth chart with more
holes than a doughnut shop.
There is more truth in that last statement. And I doubt
seriously we have enough picks as doughnut holes. With John Fox
and Paces scouting staff all I can hope for is a solid draft. I
doubt they get all I or any of you would like. We still haven't
started free agency yet. Some of these FA pickups will impact
the draft and possibly eliminate some of our obvious needs or at
least we sure can hope. Up next is the combine beginning next
week.

We'll trade back.
Pace found what, four starters after the first round last year,
all good players.
It is said interior DL potential starters run into round 3 this
year.
The Cowboys will take a defensive player and when the Bears pick
there will be one QB left on the board, probably Paxton Lynch.
The Boys will offer the Bears their 2 and 3 this year and #1
next year. The Bears will take it and use their sixth rounders
to trade the Dallas #2 back up into the late first round.
They'll draft someone like Emannuel Ogbah or Sheldon Rankins,
and still have 3 more picks in the top 100.
Look at last year... Langford, Grasu and Amos were off the radar
players who outplayed most of the other prospects rated higher.

I got this from some article talking about all of the NFL teams
biggest needs. I would suggest we have more needs on the DL
then the OL but we have so many holes they could pick almost any
position.
Keeping Jay Cutler on the field is paramount if Chicago intends
on competing for a playoff spot in 2016. Whispers suggest the
Bears hope to fill their need at left tackle with Notre Dame's
Ronnie Stanley.

Watching a lot of NFL games this year on the ticket, it's
amazing how many teams are in the same shape or worse on the OL.
