If I had QBS ranked 1,2,3 and 1 and 2 were gone would I take #3
or the best at some other position of need that was the #1
player at the position? Not with so many needs we have. We don't
have enough picks to supply all our needs. And IMHO this draft
isn't as strong as last years at QB. This is really supposed to
be a strong DLine draft. I was disappointed at the Senior Bowl
as both sides were mandated to use 4/3 defense.

It is all a crap shoot. Pace has to set up his board and stick
       to it.

The other thing to keep in mind is if we do improve talent on D,
we wont be drafting as high next year, hopefully.

My preference with our first selection would be Vernon
Hargreaves (CB) if he's still on the board, however, doubtful. My
next option would be if one of the top three QBs are on the
board I would look to trade down with someone like the Rams at
15 so they could leapfrog ahead of Philly who could be
interested in a QB. The Rams have two 2nd rounders so they might
be willing to part with one to move up.
Not knowing what free agency will bring, targeting a specific
position with the 15th pick is not an exact science.I'm hoping
we can land Muhammad Wilkerson (DE) from the Jets in the off
season which should preclude the need for DL with our first
pick.Depending who's still on the board I would target either OT
or DB,but, could change if a top player would to drop.A personal
favorite of mine is Jack Conklin (OT) of Michigan St. He's
consistently solid with a gritty demeanor.
Anyway I feel we need to address those positions early as we
got shut out in last year's draft.
       With this scenario I could see something in this line;
       1) trade with Rams #15 Conklin or Shaq Lawson (DE/OLB) maybe
       Myles Jack should he fall?
2a) Jeremy Cash (SS) or Darian Thompson (FS)
2b) Will Fuller (WR) or Artie Burns (CB)
       3) Kyle Murphy (OT) if we haven't landed a tackle yet. Maybe
Joshua Garnett (OG) good place to start looking for TEs or LBs.
The rest of the draft BPA.Also pick up a QB

I've been sifting thru some new tape.Check out OLB,Kyler
Fackrell from Utah St. A good playmaker with good size,6'5" and
250lbs. I could see taking him in the 4th round. He's all over
the field with a nose for the ball.

I guess I would be on board moving down 4 spots if we could get
another second rounder....we sure could use the high draft picks
       to flesh out the roster...

I would be satisfied with moving down 4 spots provided my #1
       target was gone

Now, there is a sensible comment. If you are not willing to
take a risk drafting a QB why bother to draft any player?
TT had no reason to draft Hundley in the fifth round. If
Hundley continues to grow into The Man Bear fans will be crying
about the lucky Packers for another 15 years. If you are not
willing to take a risk drafting a couple of low round QBs you
will probably never get The Man and your other drafted players
won't matter lf you don't have The Man.

Why do you say TT had no reason to draft Hundley? Your backup
in 2014 was Matt Flynn...a FA. The only other guy on your
roster was journeyman Scott Tolzein. The Packer are a perrenial
playoff team with not a lot of holes in their starting lineup.
       A 5th round QB addressed a need.
