I think a DE or a edge rushing OLB would be better first not
that we couldn't use an ILB. ILB is just one of the many
defensive needs. I would hold judgement on which need is a
priority after I see what we can score in free agency

Outside of possibly an offensive lineman this pick is probably
going to be defense. I really don't think the Bears could go
wrong in picking the best playmaker on defense regardless of
position with the possible exception of a NT.
You could say that OLB is the biggest playmaking position on a
3-4 defense and I couldn't argue drafting an OLB. We already
have pretty good talent and depth there with McPhee, Houston and
Young, but a rookie stud could still make sense.
If I'm looking at need I might go with a big 3-4 DE that has
some pass rush ability.

Having a dominant DE would really help this defense. You need
your NT to be big and strong enough to occupy 2 blockers. If 1
or more of your DEs can do that and create some push then that
really opens things up for the LBers.

If we are able to sign Muhammad Wilkerson (DE) in free agency
than we can forego DL in the early rounds. (Wishful
thinking). There are no LBs ,due to either skill sets or injury
that are worth a consideration with the 11th pick of the 1st
round. With the improved play of Willie Young and Lamar Houston
and the presence of McPhee,OLB is not a top priority. We now must
focus on either the DB field, offensive tackle or BPA with our
#1.
Without further ado this is my latest prognostication.
1) Jack Conklin (OT) very consistently good.
2) Jeremy Cash (SS) he's what we've been waiting for as a
playmaking safety
3) Artie Burns (CB) one of the top speed DBs with 6 ints.
4) Kolby Listenbee (WR) top flight WR with world class speed.
5) Evan Boehm (C) 6'3" 320lb. center to backup Grasu.
6)with our three picks maybe address QB,ILB and TE?

Joki, Ragland is not a LB? #8 from Temple isn't a LB? Just
saying. And in case you weren't aware of it Von Miller will be a
FA . Like I said, lets see what we score in FA before
prioritizing our draft needs. All that being said I like your
picks 2-5. Those definitely address needs. And your #1 is a need
but not just the greatest need. I feel a roadgrader RT can be
had later so that we can move Long back to RG. I don't believe
acquiring a LT is THE need because Leno cant play RT. I believe
defensive playmakers are a greater need whether via FA or draft.
