By the way, Happ eligible to be traded too---believe that the
one-year rule now has been tossed:Trea Turner proviso.
Happ would have some trade value in multi-player deal if Cubs
looking for impact young pitching. Not saying should shop him
       but he's a potential piece.

Agree. He's a terrific player, but that's not a "need."

It could become a need if they trade Soler for pitching.

Fun piece on the Cueto deliveries. Including it here in 2016,
just in case he gets any consideration from the Cubs this
offseason. He is fun to watch, no question about that.

Thanks, reb. I totally hadn't remembered that. Interesting.

I dont think I'd be willing to replace Soler with Gordon
       especially considering cost.
Of course all of this depends on who we could get for Jorge too.
If you're asking me to pick between Soler or Baez I hope Javy
       has rented instead of bought.

so if its Soler + PRice for 34 million a year...
Vs Gordon + Corey Kluber for 26 million... you'd take the
       soler/price deal?

I think you are looking more Carrasco/Salazar than Kluber. I
       would rather have Carrasco/Heyward.

i agree... its more carrasco/salazar... but wanted the salaries
to be closer for a comp...
if you use the other two salary differential grows further.
Heyward + Carrasco and 15 mill to spend on BP and another
starter sounds way better then Price/soler and nothing else.

His wife tweeted out the picture and she made it sound like it
       was just for the offseason.
