Levine, according to Bleacher Nation, mentions that the Indians
would Soler in a trade for pitching and mentions Salazar.

Kind of funny that 10 teams gets into playoffs, 1/3 of all
teams, yet only 1/7 of the top 7 payrolls (Dodgers) got in, and
even they couldn't win a series.

I was also somewhat surprised that the Cubs were as high as they
were. I'd not expected them to get both Montero and Lester, so
hadn't really expected them to get to or above average.

I would be open to a trade built around Soler and Salazar, as
much as I'd hate to lose Soler. I'd prefer to trade Soler - and
even more so Castro - than Baez.

Soler looked so much better the final few weeks. Baez has never
looked anywhere near that good at the ML level. Can the Cubs
afford to give Baez a full year in the majors to try and develop
with a team built to win now?

I want no part of trading Soler.

I doubt I'd want to move him either.

If you want to trade for a young, controllable starter with TOR
potential - and the Indians have two of them - Castro isn't
going to get it done as a centerpiece. Whether you'd rather
deal Soler or Baez is a reasonable disagreement, but I don't see
the Cubs getting that type of arm this offseason without trading
one of them. For me, Baez' defense and his offensive potential
outweighs Soler's offense given his limitations. Soler is a
corner OF, will only ever be a corner OF, and doesn't seem
likely to ever be a very good one. As such, he's more
replaceable than Baez if Baez continues the development he
       showed this season.
