Don’t watch a whole lot of college football but this Oregon
Colorado game will be interesting.
Shader Sanders is kind of a wildcard and I’ve seen his games but
Bo Nix is who I want to check out for the Bears.

Weird contract. He only gets $2mil a year then the balance at
the end of the contract.

No, he gets paid over 20 years with $680M in years 11-20.

I don't like this loophole. There needs to be something in
these contracts that doesn't allow such a a large deferral. I
love the opportunity for all teams to be competitive, and not
just watch the Dodgers every year in the World Series because
they have the deepest pockets and a system that allows them to
get around the luxury tax.

It’s not a loophole. It’s specifically written in the CBA.
LA is not in the World Series every year. If making the World
Series is a proxy for competitiveness, baseball looks good.
2/3rds of all the teams have made the WS in the last 20 years. I
don’t know but I doubt the other, salaried capped sports, are
better.

I guess the decision to leave Florida State out of the playoffs
was a good one. Damn they got smoked in their bowl game.

FL state were missing numerous players - several of which were
first rounders. Georgia piled it on because they wanted to
make statement too.
