Maddon isn't swinging the bat. What the H happened to Bryant?
He's done almost nothing for months. Rizzo's power has fizzled.
This happened last year in September too - Cubs just stopped
hitting.

I can count about 25 games Maddon has made major blunders.
Sticking with guys too long etc. - it's crazy how bad he has
managed this year.

While I agree that Maddon hasn't been stellar this season, I

Well, that should just about do it for the Cubs. Let the
division slip right through their hands. This is the time of
year that you win. We're now in third place, pathetic! Hey,
let's not forget... "next year"... Yeah, right!
I guess they could start rippen off some wins and make it
interesting, but does anyone really think they would go to
Washington and win?

It was nice to see all those runs against the Pirates, but lack
of production and an effective closer have been the achilles
heel.
